Insurance Enrollment Tips

Before you can start the enrollment process you must first have a place of business, malpractice (if applicable), phone number, and organization (if applicable) unless you plan to bill as a sole proprietor.  Many people try to start the process before they have any of these items in place and insurance companies will reject the applications.  Medicare and the insurance companies have ramped up their site visits and may request a phone bill to verify the phone number being used.  There are many ways to work around these problems but you must have a thorough understanding of the process or you can hurt your chances of being contracted.  For Medicare, you also must have a business bank account set up.  For more information on Medicare Enrollment, visit
